Google Buzz? We can do that.
I've had a few people ask how Google Buzz will impact FeedMagnet - which is a great question. A lot of social media tools are locked in to only work with Twitter, RSS, or some other specific source. We made the strategic decision with FeedMagnet to support any source that provides a content feed for us to pull from. So we welcome Google Buzz with enthusiasm.
Buzz is just another source for us to pull in content from - and as soon as Buzz releases their public API you can bet we'll be adding it as a source just like Twitter, Flickr, RSS, and the other sources we already support. Google Buzz looks interesting. We're not going to place any bets on whether or not it is a "Twitter Killer" - but the integration with Gmail makes it at least a contender and you can bet we'll be keeping our eye on it.
We'll post to Twitter and this blog when the Google API launches and we get it connected up to FeedMagnet so you can start using it in your feeds.
