WOMMania
Word-of-Mouth Marketing is a practice which has become empowered and expanded by the growth of social media. In November, the Word of Mouth Marketing Association held a three-day Summit, bringing together brand marketers and thought leaders to advance their knowledge and networking in the WOM field. As official sponsors, FeedMagnet encouraged engagement with social aggregation and visual display.
Bringing the Conversation to Life
FeedMagnet's custom designed screen displays were fixtures in the hallways of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and on-screen between speakers.
Conference attendees were also able to follow a version on their phones and tablets, while those who couldn't make it participated vicariously from home.
Visible Results
Social content poured in from participants, including shout-outs to the displays themselves and attempts to get on-screen.
Content spiked during the Thursday luncheon, when the FeedMagnet display was on stage without a presenter, suggesting the power of visualization to inspire action. Of course, nothing could compare to the surge of posts and photos during the keynote when Sally Hogshead did a shot of Jagermeister :)
Good Times Worth Sharing
The FeedMagnet team was all business at the WOMMA Summit.
We met lots of awesome people, listened to the issues that marketers will face in the coming year, and spread the word about how we help brands harness social media.
Keep an ear out for WOMMA members - these are the marketers who "get it" and will lead a new era of 2-way communication for talkable brands.
