Filters let you automate the process of sifting through content to determine what makes it into your feeds. They can be used to keep words you don't want out of your feeds and help you focus in on sentiment - pulling in updates that are mostly positive, for instance.
Filters can also help you increase the relevance of your content - weeding out updates that are irrelevant to your brand or message or only pulling in photo and video updates to power a gallery.

Even better, our pre-screening moderation tool can be used in combination with automated filtering so that the filters catch most of the problematic content—reducing the amount of work the moderator has to do. Ideally, moderation is just a final check to make sure everything looks good before it goes live.
You get to decide how you want moderation to work. If you don't need the extra layer of pre-moderation, you can let updates go straight into the live feed. And even if you are not pre-screening, you can still go in and remove updates after-the-fact if something gets through that you don't like.
